Sustainability Communication & Greenwashing

This module covers the fundamentals of sustainability communication at both product and corporate levels. You’ll gain insights into the risks of greenwashing and learn how to effectively avoid them. The course explains the principles of credible sustainability communication, including how to present life cycle assessment results properly. It also covers the legal framework and offers practical tips and hands-on exercises to help you actively prevent greenwashing.

ESG Strategy

You’ll be introduced to the EU Green Deal and its resulting regulations, such as the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and the EU Taxonomy. The training explores how these and other laws affect business practices and how to implement them successfully. A key focus is on the collection and management of relevant data required for compliance with EU regulations. Practical exercises ensure you can directly apply the knowledge in a business context.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Basics

You’ll gain an introduction to life cycle assessment methodology and its value for businesses. The session provides an overview of key standards and norms and introduces the four phases of LCA as defined in ISO 14040/44. You’ll also become familiar with important databases and software tools that support LCA processes. Hands-on examples and practical exercises will help you apply the methodology in practice.

 

Corporate Carbon Footprint

Learn the fundamentals of corporate carbon accounting in accordance with international standards such as the GHG Protocol. You’ll get a clear overview of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and how they are defined and measured. The training introduces the data collection process and the carbon accounting workflow, along with best practices and reporting techniques. Special attention is given to Scope 3 challenges. Practical exercises will help you apply the concepts in your company’s context.

Sustainability in the Supply Chain

This training offers an introduction to ESG criteria (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and their significance for businesses. You’ll learn how these criteria apply across the value chain, and the risks, opportunities, and impacts they bring. The course shows how ESG criteria can be embedded and implemented within your organization. With practical exercises, you’ll be able to directly apply what you’ve learned.

Diversity & Inclusion

Our workshop offers a compact and practical introduction to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The goal is to raise awareness, build sensitivity, and strengthen DEI engagement within your company. You’ll learn what DEI means, why it matters to your business, and how to address unconscious bias and improve emotional intelligence.
